Krystine is the proud owner of Headquarters Salon, where she blends her passion for hairstyling with a heart for leadership, education, and community. She is dedicated to mentoring and inspiring her team while creating a welcoming salon where every guest feels seen, valued, and cared for. Krystine specializes in color corrections, lived-in color, one-of-a-kind pixie cuts, and helping clients achieve the hair of their dreams with extensions. She especially enjoys working with a mature clientele who appreciate her thoughtful approach, technical expertise, and attention to detail.
Outside of the salon, Krystine’s greatest joy is spending time with her grandchildren, getting lost in a great book, and exploring new places through travel. She also loves creating handmade quilts, camping, hiking, and serving her community by providing haircuts for people experiencing homelessness. Whether she’s mentoring the next generation of stylists, volunteering, or creating something beautiful with fabric or hair, Krystine brings creativity, compassion, curiosity, and kindness into everything she does.

Karrilyn, a dedicated Master Hair Stylist and manager at Head Quarters Salon, finds her inspiration in the beauty of both nature and music. When she’s not creating and mentoring in the salon, she can be found hiking in the great outdoors or enjoying live concerts. Her love for painting and drawing feds her creative spirit, and her continuous pursuit of personal growth reflects her commitment to self-improvement.
In her role as salon manager and Master Hair Stylist, Karrilyn thrives on learning and sharing her expertise with her stylists, guiding them on their journey in the hair industry. What truly sets her apart is her unwavering passion for curly hair, a specialty that distinguishes her in Tooele County.
Her journey in the industry began with a childhood dream, which was lovingly encouraged and supported by her husband. Today, she’s not just a hairstylist but a professional who has honed her craft, from mastering the art of working with different hair textures and head shapes to becoming a champion for diversity and equality in the industry.
Karrilyn is closely associated with the “Texture VS Race” cause, dedicated to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion in the world of hair. She believes strongly in racial justice and seeks to bring true equality to our nation.
When it comes to her work, her heart lies in cutting and styling curly hair, she is equally passionate about barbering. Creating beautiful colors is just one more area in which Karrilyn excels, from gray blending, dimensional blondes, or vibrant reds she leaves her clients in awe. Introducing Courtney, a fabulous stylist at Head Quarters Salon. Her heart is filled with passion for making new friendships at work and making her clients look and feel amazing. Court is our salon extension specialist; her training came from the renowned JZ Styles and she has three years of experience in her specialty. Among extensions, Courtney excels in blonding, creating beautiful artwork with every client who is lucky enough to sit in her chair.
When she’s not creating hair magic, Courtney enjoys quality time with her hubby and their adorable dog, Koda. This winter is extra special for her this year as she eagerly awaits the arrival of a new baby to her family. A Tooele County native, Courtney cherishes her close-knit family and the warmth of her hometown.
Aside from her creative talents, Courtney has discovered a new love for skiing, adding some adventurous thrills to her life. Her infectious bubbly personality, a love for making people laugh, and her desire for client satisfaction make her a joy to be around. Dedicated to constant improvement, Brynlee values education and thrives on the monthly opportunities for learning provided by the salon. If she could share one piece of advice with new stylists, it would be this: “Get all the education you can after graduating. It’s the key to unlocking your full potential.” We are so proud of Bryn as she takes her own advice to heart, she is quickly becoming an expert in her field and reaching her own potential.
When it comes to her skills, Brynlee’s expertise shines in the world of haircutting and creating stunning blonding services that leave clients in awe. She can also do some amazing braid work. She doesn’t just meet expectations; she exceeds them. Her proudest moments are when her hard work is recognized and appreciated. It is a testament to her dedication and talent.
Brynlee’s love for travel has taken her to mesmerizing destinations like Rome, London, and Paris. These experiences inspire her creativity and enrich her work. Outside of work, Brynlee finds joy in spending time with her boyfriend and cherished family. Her passion for the beauty industry was ignited by her Aunt Tia, a hairstylist whom she admired while growing up and still admires to this day.

Born and raised in Salt Lake City and having spent 24 years in Tooele, she proudly considers herself a local. Her focus is on ensuring every guest leaves her chair feeling more confident than when they arrived.
She combines creativity with meaningful connection in her work, viewing each appointment as an opportunity to craft something beautiful and personalized. Marci specializes in hair extensions, lived-in color, and precision haircuts, and she is committed to continued education, believing there is always more to learn and refine within the industry.

When she is not perfecting her craft, you might find her on the softball field or enjoying quality time with her cherished family and friends. And if the serene call of nature beckons, you’ll discover her casting a line while fishing.
Yessica’s journey in the beauty industry began in high school when she discovered her passion for cosmetology. Over time, her love for the art of hair design blossomed. Her favorite services to perform are dazzling colors that reflect her attention to detail. She is growing in her skill set for cuts and specialty colors as she has amazing mentors to help her along the way. You will always be in good hands with Yessica as your stylist.

When she’s not in the salon, you’ll find her playing guitar, drawing, sipping on a fizz drink, or finding her next adventure with friends. Independent, hardworking, and always ready to jump in wherever she’s needed, Kora brings just the right amount of main character energy to the salon.

Callie
Callie is the newest member of the Headquarters Salon team, working at the front desk and as an assistant. With a love for cosmetology, she aims to obtain her license soon and make people feel great about their hair as a lifelong career. Despite a severe injury that nearly ended her gymnastics journey, Callie persevered through two years of physical therapy and now continues to teach and practice the sport. Her dedication extends to breast cancer awareness, driven by personal loss and a commitment to regular mammograms. Callie is known for her hard work, creativity, and can-do attitude, making her a cherished addition to our team.
